Adesh Patel is a considerate and qualified allergist serving the communities of Alpharetta, Smyrna, and Kennesaw/Acworth GA. Dr. Patel attended the University of Alabama, where he received his degree in medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Patel is a part of the Center for Allergy and Asthma of Georgia and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Patel is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation and adapts his consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns.

I'm so pleased with him as he had a medication no one had recommended before to have on hand if I really get into trouble with cough asthma or bronchitis even a minimal dose of steroid allows me no sleep. I look forward to working with him as I discover how to manage allergies and cough asthma with a tendency to get bronchitis and sinusitis in the Atlanta area. The Smyrna office was run efficiently and is convenient, though I may try to switch to the Kennesaw office which is even a bit closer.

I am so glad I made my appointment with Dr. Patel. I have pretty bad asthma that is not very controlled. I had seen a Doctor about my condition years before but wasn’t very happy with the prescriptions they put me on. However, Dr. Patel took the time to explain everything to me and find the underlying causes of my flare ups. My previous Doctor never did that so I am very grateful to have booked an appointment with him. Recently, my asthma has been so bad that I would have to take my inhaler everyday, but with the new prescription Dr. Patel put me on I haven’t had any flare ups/attacks since.
